HOOD RIDE BYCLES
Backyard Boogie @ Hood Ride Bicycles (2013)
Two weeks ago I got asked to paint at my homie’s back yard bike shop, Hood Ride Bicycles. This is just the start of it, I’m hoping to go back sometime this week to finish it up. Check out the video above to see his work space and get a feel of what Hood Rides all about.
"Sombrero Jose." Acrylic on panel. (2013)
Recently, I was commissioned to do a painting for a surprised birthday gift. Was asked to paint a portrait of my friend Michael’s boss (Jose). He asked that he would be wearing a sombrero and show how he can be crazy and fun but also serious at times. I actually got the opportunity to meet and hangout with Jose while he was in town for a conference. Got to know him a little better which really helped me with the outcome of the piece. Jose created The Skool which is an educational company that helps manage web and app projects. Had a lot of fun with this piece and was glad he recieved it on time for his birthday!
For those who missed out the first time..

For the past 2 months I have been busy with working hard on a new body of work which I got to present to the public last Friday. Prior to my opening, my good homie Matthias James stopped by my studio to see what I’ve been working on. Here are some photos he took while visiting me in my new studio. Thanks Matthias for the photos and music!
